His contribution for the society at large can never be underestimated. It is his sincere effort to delve further into this wonderful art of Odissi and Bharathanatyam and preserve and propagate its pristine beauty.A connoisseur of Indian Classical dance, Arnab is a postgraduate in Bengali literature with a first class diploma in journalism. To mark his excellence in the domain of Indian Classical dance, Arnab has been conferred with various prestigious titles and awards including the ‘Sangeet Vibhakar’, ‘Sangeet Ratna’ and ‘Sangeet Prabor’ award by the Bangiya Sangeet Parisad.
Training:
Arnab has had comprehensive training in Bharatanatya under the guidance of Anita Mullick and has learnt Pandanallur style of Bharatanatyam, under guidance of famous Bharat Natyam teacher & choreographer Dr. Mamata Niyogi Nakra of Montreal. Then he specialized himself in Odissi dance style. He has started his training under Sutapa Talukdar in Kolkata and then his talent has been nurtured by Padmabibhushan Guru Sri Kelucharan Mahapatra and his son Guru Ratikanta Mahapatra.
